Humpback Whales Are One Of Maui’s Top Attractions
Each year, Maui is blessed with the migration of North America Humpback Whales to the three islands comprising Maui County.
Humpback Whales make one off the longest migrations of any mammal, covering over 2,700 miles from their feeding grounds in Alaska. They come to Maui to mate and have their babies in Maui’s warmer, shallower water. Humpback Whales can be see as early as October, but officially the season starts in December and ends in April.
